Photo Rejuvenation (IPL)
We offer photo rejuvenation (IPL) in Calgary and Airdrie utilizing next generation intense pulsed light technology. Safer and more comfortable than older laser technology, IPL photofacial treatments can remove sunspots, visible veins and other imperfections and increase collagen synthesis. IPL can also be used as an alternative to laser hair removal in Calgary to treat unwanted hair.
The treatment itself is quick and easy. As our aesthetician moves the pulsed light handpiece over your skin, a pulsed light breaks up the pigment in the affected area (a sensation akin to a gentle snapping, causing little or no discomfort). Treated areas darken slightly after the procedure, and then fade away about 10 to 14 days later. ReNue recommends a series of 3 to 5 photofacials spaced 4 to 5 weeks apart.

Titan Laser
When skin ages, collagen fibres stretch, resulting in sagging. For those who want to avoid the many drawbacks of surgery, we offer skin tightening at our Calgary clinic using the Titan Laser. The Titan Laser heats the skin's underlying collagen layer which results in it contracting and thickening. The Titan offers skin treatments with minimal pain or discomfort without surgery, recovery time or injections. Titan is an ideal solution for your face, abdomen, arms and more.
Individuals receiving treatment indicate the procedure is almost free of pain. There are few if any side effects associated with treatment via the Titan Laser. Patients may experience slight redness that usually will fade after an hour. Any swelling that occurs should subside within a day. Individuals that receive treatment via the Titan Laser may immediately return to work. Since the laser works by stimulating the formation of new collagen, ideal results will take approximately 3 to 8 months to materialize.

Laser Genesis
The Laser Genesis procedure utilizes non-invasive laser technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat fine-line wrinkles, diffuse and excessive redness and help manage large pores, uneven skin texture, and scars. You can expect to see subtle yet consistent results after each treatment, without unwanted side effects such as bruising or excessive skin irritation. Treatments can be performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of topical anesthetics or gel. By gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin's surface, Laser Genesis stimulates collagen re-growth. Additional heat is generated in dilated capillaries to reduce redness. On average, you may require four to six treatments in order to achieve optimal results. Laser Genesis is safe for all skin types even very dark skin types and gentle enough to treat rosacea, with no visible side effects post treatment.
Sciton® JOULE™
As a result of factors such as sun exposure, smog, and the natural aging process, your skin may become wrinkled, unevenly colored, and dry. Using the Sciton® JOULE™ laser skin resurfacing system, fibroblasts generate new collagen, correcting skin imperfections. After a procedure, your skin is rejuvenated, with concerns such as wrinkles, uneven tone, or rough texture corrected. Your face will look and feel smoother, firmer, and more evenly toned.
