The Re-Consult

In a follow up to my last blog, I wanted to discuss the second most important factor for getting a great result with your skin care regimen.  It is what we call the re-consult.  The re-consult is something that we try to schedule yearly to review our treatments, review the results and make sure we remain on track.  The analogy would be going in for an annual check-up with your doctor and then never having a complete check-up done again.  You want to be preventative and not wait for illness to happen.  It is not that different in the medical … Continue Reading

The Consult

First of all, thank you to everyone who has shown interest in having the best skin of their lives and signed up for our ReNue Radiance Program (RRP).  We have had a very successful launch and we continue to feel it provides great value and improves outcomes. The Challenges of Darker Skin Darker skin is so interesting and demanding at the same time.  It begs some explanation … Continue Reading

The Low-Down on Hormonal Acne: Save Your Money!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year’s celebration. We had a great Christmas celebration at ReNue. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and supporting ReNue over the years. I am very grateful for all of you. I want to kick off the New Year with the exciting topic of hormonal acne. I see so many people trying to treat this type of acne with topical skin products. I would venture a guess that the average female spends more than $2,000 on skin products before coming to one of our Airdrie, Downton Calgary, and Seton dermatology … Continue Reading
